Mayer Fire responded to the Badger Fire 6/1/2017

Mayer Fire crews were dispatched for a vehicle fire at I-17 and Badger Springs Rd.  Upon arrival, crews faced a fully involved vehicle fire that spread into 5 acres of wildland and quickly spread to over 160 acres.  Multiple agencies including air resources assisted in the firefight.  The fire as of 6/2/2017 is fully contained.
